With Halloween just around the corner it is a good reminder to be alert of what your kids bring back with them in that plastic jack-o-lantern. In Colorado (where pot is legal) marijuana is marketed to children with brightly colored packaging and a look that is indistinguishable from normal pot free candy as the video below shows.

Edibles comprise 45% of the pot sales in Colorado and contain large amounts of THC. Legalization efforts such as Prop 64 in California create a foundation for the construction of an aggressive corporate industry for pot. That industries goal will be garnering heavy daily users of their product and getting them using early.
